Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a lovely balcony overlooking the car park at the entrance. However, some maintenance issues like the shower needed attention. The service was polite but with a hiccup in taxi charges. The location was convenient, although not flawless. The dining experience was surprisingly terrible, but the facilities were decent overall.
Upon arrival, I was a bit disappointed that our room wasn't ready as we were exhausted from a long journey and just wanted to freshen up before our breakout sessions. However, the room with a balcony made up for it, overlooking the beautiful grounds of the hotel. The staff was helpful and efficient, especially Ian, who assisted us without us even asking, even though we were stuck in traffic for over 1.5 hours. The location, while potentially charming in the past, seemed poorly maintained and dirty. However, the vast green spaces were immaculate, providing a peaceful village-like atmosphere. The dining options were impressive, including a pancake and omelet station. Facilities were adequate, offering everything we needed during our stay.
The hotel offers a nice view that makes you feel like you're in the jungle, with big and comfortable rooms located above the car park and right next to the hotel entrance. However, there was no iron or ironing board provided. The service was excellent with friendly staff patrolling the grounds and staffing the gate at all hours. The location is perfect, nearly out of Nairobi. The dining was priced over expectations, but ordering a la carte could help. The amenities, although priced with poor food, set us up for the long day ahead.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, set in a wonderful location. However, I found them to be a bit dated for my taste. The service was fantastic overall, especially thanks to Francis and Daniel; although I did have a small hiccup with slow staff at check-in. The location was beautiful, almost like a small village, but it felt more like Kenya than a traditional American or European hotel. The dining experience was unexpectedly included and satisfactory overall.
My stay at the hotel was overall delightful. The rooms were large and well-appointed with fantastic views of the gardens, although our room wasn't ready upon arrival. The staff were incredibly helpful and responsive, always going out of their way to assist, although they missed greeting us at times. The location, although vibrant, felt a bit worn out compared to its former glory. The dining experience was excellent, offering a variety of delicious choices. The facilities were top-notch, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
